Policies
Our goal is to create a pleasurable dining experience with clear communication before, during and after each event.
We offer a broad spectrum of menu ideas and will custom design any event from scratch. Menu selection may be anywhere from simple to extravagant, depending on your needs. Our experience and ability to create special events make any type of function extraordinary. Aladdin is committed to providing exceptional, high-quality caterings in support of events on campus.
We want to ensure that we are providing you with the very best options for you to choose from, so please let us know if there is anything you do not see in our catering guide. We will be happy to assist you at any time with placing your food and beverage orders. Simply call the catering office and an event planner will walk you through the online process. We want to make every event a special event!
In order to provide the best service for your event, a minimum lead-time of seven (7) business days is required when ordering food and beverage. In some instances, depending on business and product in house, service may be provided within a lead team of (5) business days. A late fee of $50 will be assessed for all events approved after the 7 day cutoff. For events approved 72 hours or less, the order will be assessed a 25% increase on the total bill due.
Final guest count is required (7) seven calendar days prior to the event. If the guest count is not confirmed, the catering team will proceed with the last recorded guest count. The invoice will reflect the last guest count unless the actual guest count is higher.
For food safety reasons, we do not allow customers to remove any food from an event at the conclusion of the event.
Aladdin is the exclusive food service provider for the CSUP campus. Outside food is not allowed for any event unless a waiver or prior approval is granted by the Catering Director.
All orders require an index code at the time the order is placed. All orders are billed through Auxiliary services which requires both the index code and the ABF form.
China service is included for all plated and buffet dinners in the PSU Ballroom. China is available for all events at an additional rate of $5.00 per person.

Table linens and skirting are included with all event orders serving food, for food service or dining tables only. Black and white linens are complimentary. Additional colors may be rented for an additional charge. Complimentary napkins are available in black, white, red and blue for all orders with food.

Aladdin is happy to provide catering to off campus locations within 50 miles of the campus. Please contact our Catering Director to identify delivery areas and charges.
Cancellations made at least (7) five business days prior to the event will forfeit all charges. Cancellations made three business days or less prior to event will incur a 50% service charge on the contracted amount. Cancellations 24 hours or less prior to the event will incur the service charge of 50% of the contracted amount or actual food costs - whichever is the higher amount.
All catered events will be taxed accordingly.
